Hello!

Im Ashley, or ‘Ash’. I was raised on Midwest kindness, hard work, and Euchre. I’m an adventurer by nature, a professional across several industries, and someone who believes in pursuing a life worth living. I’ve called much of the Western lower 48 home, mostly the mountainous states, but a holler and desert-plane in there too, before eventually putting down roots in Alaska.

I’ve built my life around taking chances, working hard, and following curiosity wherever it leads. I grew up in a working-class auto-industry family and have never been afraid to get my hands dirty. I’ve lost a partner in a plane crash, close friends in the mountains, and all my hair to cancer. I take nothing for granted and don’t hold back. 

I love fully, work whole-heartedly, speak honestly, spend as much time outside as possible, and never stop learning.

Professionally, my work spans snow & avalanche education/safety, guiding, and film production, backed by an earlier career in business and marketing. I've built a career around diverse skills, sound judgment, and the ability to move confidently between very different worlds.

You can usually find me in Alaska or Latin America. I spend a lot of time in the air, in the mountains snowboarding and flying, in the garden, on the river, exploring remote corners of Alaska, or planning wild trips.
